  • Freefile via Vermont Dept of Taxes Free option for qualifying Vermonters to file VT & IRS taxes online
  • Incomes Under $69,000: IRS Free File
  • Incomes Over $69,000: Free Fillable Forms
Don’t qualify for free filing? You will be charged a filing fee for the above forms. 

Paper filing
  • At the Library: 1040 (Federal) forms will available at the Library in mid- late Feb.  Or, scroll down for info  on ordering or printing copies to your home. All forms are free. Vermont State does not distribute state paper forms through libraries.
  • By Mail: If you would like to request forms directly to your home:
